Media Bias: Maligned Mangoes Edition - Independent Man

Yr 12 HSC students lambaste the quality of the poem on social media (for which they have never seen or heard before or had any knowledge of the author) ascribed to them for comment and assessment. One student likening the text to the quality one would expect from a monkey banging on a keyboard. The Media loses their mind when it is revealed that the author identifies as indigenous doxing the students and calling them racist.
Would this be a thing if the author was non indigenous?
How can kids be guilty of racism if they didn't know the identity of the author let alone their race?
