Today's review will be all about South park, so if you are a fan of the show you gonna enjoy this new crazy game.

The new South Park: The Fractured But Whole is maybe one of the funniest RPG games ever! If you played the first part: The Stick of Truth which is also hilarious, you now what I am talking about. Like the previous part, the Fractured But Whole is more based on superhero franchise, and combat based style is really taking on a higher level and make the fun just that more interesting and challenging.

So, when you play The Fractured But Whole or the previous part, there is no much difference like you are watching the show series, with the ton of new materials, jokes and gags, exploring the town, giving you the chance to join up in a such a well known notorious gang of the South Park characters. The Animation is really good that you can easily mistaken it with the tv show, except when you need to interact with the character. The voices are also authentic and there are no mistake that they put an effort to bring us close to a new experience and bring about new perspectives of the South Park.

The story continues from the last moments of the Stick of truth and continuing into a superhero quest, where you take a role as a new kid, that you can customize of course, where you begin in a searching mission of a lost cat to collect the 100 dollar reward. Of course my favorite character Cartman has it's plans on his own. His master-plan involves this 100 dollars to build up a company like Marvel Universe based on his Coon - hero alter ego. Along the way when you start to play you will confront with professor Chaos and his minions to Crab people.

In the Fractured But Whole you will get really lost in collective kids imagination, where they are all trippin to be super heroes with super powers, but there costumes are made of scraps, while shooting with lasers and teleporting and in the next moment when grown ups get involved all that would stop. But that's just South Park where everything is possibly, and quite frankly, after watching some shows with Cartman, almost nothing will surprise me.

When I said that, I actually mean it, from sexual jokes that are sometimes hilarious, there are also racist moments when the jokes about cops just can't compete with that. But what do you expect from South Park? They are breaking down all kinds of stereotypes and taboo subject, and push them over the edge for 20 years now. That is what South Park is all about.

Besides that the game is filled with bunch of gags, jokes and various situations, the great degree of time you will spend in the game is when you are chasing the main story or some side quests. You will wander thru small mountain town trying to figure it out where is the location you need to go, because almost all houses are identical, and you can easily get lost poping out constantly your quick map just to realize you are going in the wrong direction.

As you progress through the game challenges in the fight would be bigger and bigger. First off, it will start easy, but later on you will need to look out for a number of factors.Positioning yourself in the right place, timing , and choosing the right attack is crucial.
You can chose to fight from a bunch of characters, and every one of them has 3 abilities regarding the character and their own unique ultimate power, which is charged from the whole group and affects them all. From there you can create yourself space to take advantage against enemy. Don't be surprised if Kenny die in a battle ;)

They add a little things in the battle just to make sure that you are alert all the time, because the combat is based on the principal, you got one hit, they got one hit. But while you are waiting to be hit, there might be a window of opportunity to steal that turn if your timing is right. So don't get to comfortable.

When you are not fighting feel free to explore the town where there are a bunch of puzzles where you need to solve them, but they are no brainer at all when you have a right tool, but maybe some of them could lead you to interesting places.
So basically The Fractured But Whole is an excellent RPG game and I guaranty you, you will have so much fun if you like that type of humor. So while I wait for the third part of the game South Park, I might consider deep freezing myself to reach the future faster where the game is already out. Or maybe I will just re-watch again all series until that time.
