Memphis, Tennessee is famous for being one of the best BBQ places in the whole world. The city is also home to the Tennessee Titans to quench your thirst for football. A bonus is that Memphis is very close to Nashville, merely a couple hours away, and you should be able to get to both within the same day. The nightlife in both cities is decent, with plenty of bars and clubs available.
