Microsoft demonstrated changes in the appearance of Windows 10 in accordance with the new concept of Fluent Design
In the first half of this year, Microsoft announced a new philosophy of interfaces Fluent Design, which provides for some changes in the design of the company's software products in the future. And the first changes to the interface can be seen in the update of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the output of which should take place today.
Microsoft has prepared a short video demonstrating the innovations that Fluent Design will bring to the Windows 10 interface. Microsoft has focused on light, image depth, shadows, blurring, transparency, movement, material and scale. The corresponding animation creates a sense of movement of the design as it interacts with the operating system. Something similar was implemented in Windows Vista, but then Microsoft focused on the design of Metro with a minimum of graphic delights. Now the company is trying to develop Fluent Design as the successor to Metro. All this was before and will be repeated.
In the following months, Microsoft intends to introduce Fluent Design more widely, corresponding appearance changes will appear in applications and services on the platforms of Windows, iOS and Android. More significant changes will appear in the next major update of Windows 10, which so far appears under the code name Redstone 4 and is expected in March 2018.
